Ralph’s Ranch
A place for y’all.
it runs in the family
Growing up spending weekends at grandpa Ralph’s farm was a childhood staple for Ben and his brothers. With a wanderlust deep in his blood, Ben left Oklahoma quickly after college. He spent the next 5 years traveling the world, living and working in Asia, learning about himself all the while immersing himself in cultures that challenged and grew him. After moving back to Oklahoma in 2018, he knew that if this were to be home, there would need to be some revelations.
There were massive life changes for Ben headed his way. Moving back to Oklahoma brought unforeseen challenges of the cultural climate, but also carried small joys of long-time childhood friends and community nearby. Knowing that he wanted to carve out a space in Oklahoma City for others who had a similar sentiment, namely the queer community, Ben started looking for the perfect space.
Loving vintage goods and all things old, loved, worn, and used he stumbled upon an estate sale at a working horse stable on the north side of OKC. Recognizing the property would soon be on the market, he kept his eye out. The following months lead to the purchase of what was Red Rock Stables that had been run by the same ladies for 30 years.
With a vision to create a safe space for marginalized communities while also making nature, animals, and quiet easily accessible for those in the city, Ben got to work. Recognizing he is not alone, the massive support and kindness of friends, family, and strangers alike, helped move Ralph’s Ranch to becoming a symbol for just that: safety, peace, and healing.
Consider this your invitation to join the community of peace, healing, and good ‘ol country fun out at Ralph’s. The gate is always open, and the animals are always looking for a friendly handful of feed.
We would love to have you.

Purpose
Built upon the ethos of y’all: where y’all truly means all. Oklahoma can be a harsh environment with little opportunity for those who don’t belong to the majority. So we’ve curated a beautiful space for ‘others’ to experience peace, celebration, and community.
